Foster Home Communication Protocol

The Foster Care Placement Communication Protocol training has been developed to inform the child and family services system of the requirements of this protocol. The protocol applies whenever there is a child in care and outlines the communication expectations for child in care workers, foster care workers and (when applicable) community care providers. Focus is on the communication of child-specific and licensing information in a timely manner to ensure the safety of children and to provide for cohesive planning.
